In another life I was a primary school teacher and now I explore and enjoy many kinds of art work and feel that art should be uplifting both for the artist and for the viewer.  I love the excitement of colour and the magic of what is around me and this flavours my work to a great extent.  

Having spent most of my life creating something, a website seemed like a good next move for an artist with a variety of skills and strengths.  My work is often landscape based and living in this beautiful Pennine area, I have no shortage of inspiration.  

I am a founder member of Alive & Stitching, Pennine Artists and Art Through Textiles and exhibit both in the local area and nationally.  My work features in many collections both here and abroad. 

Encouraging children to draw and paint is another of my passions.
